The gentlest and best thing to try first is murphy’s oil soap. It is meant for wood, adn the soap content will most likely break up the chemicals in the feb.
The second thing to dry is Old English Oil. Cover the entire table in it and let it set for at least 24 hours, and then wipe off the excess.
If neither of those work, try a gentle once over with fine steel wool. That is a last alternative and you must be very careful. It could ruin your table, but if you think it is already ruined, it is worth a try
